A website that saves you money on prescriptions

If you’ve spoken to me for 2 minutes about health care, you know a pet peeve of mine is a lack of pricing information available to John Q. Public.

When it comes to finding the best deal on prescription drugs, we have a great local resource – LesliesList.org. This site was created by Leslie Ramirez, a doctor at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Very easy to use! Just plug-in the name of your medication and go.

  • Taking Crestor for your cholesterol? You can spend $5.97/pill at Walgreens or $4.73/pill at Target!
  • Taking Lisinopril for your high blood pressure? You can spend 53 cents a pill at CVS or 11 cents at Kmart!

Even if you have a drug card with at $10 generic copay, you’re better-off just paying cash for all of the generics on the Walmart $4 Drug List.  And if you’ve got an HSA without a drug card, every penny counts.

Don’t miss this site! It’s a great resource to use for yourself and to share with your employees.

"Work" is the key word in your question. Losing wgihet requires work, not magic pills. Get rid of the snacks and soda, eat healthy and get some exercise. The best thing you can do is walk or run to the drug store and back without buying anything and you'll likely have lost at least a pound in the process. Do that every day and you'll lose more wgihet than if you drove there and bought the magic diet pills (and you'll feel better and save money on gas and pills!).References :
